All of our product lines are powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and do not require an AC electrical outlet at the computer for power.  Features a 39.62 cm (15.6") touch screen and a host of other enhancements. This unit is custom engineered for low-power and low-voltage operation.  To accomplish this, the unit has absolutely no moving components, is completely passively cooled, thus ensuring extremely quiet operation. Thanks to the use of the Intel Atom platform with a D510 dual-core processor, the power consumption of the POE-156 has been reduced by 50%. A further contribution to resource conservation is the use of a hyper-fast Solid State Disk drive. Equipped with a webcam, LAN, card reader and pedestal, which can also be used as a carrying handle. 

A bundled PoE computing solution which comes out-of-the-box with everything you need to get started with PoE, including a PoE 'Injector' for providing power over the network cable.  Optional 6,12, and 24 port PoE Injectors (midspans) can be purchased seperately for larger deployments.  Also includes an external AC Adapter, giving you the flexibility to run on AC power or PoE as needed.  The unit is equipped with VESA mount holes for panel mounting or installation on a custom workstation.  The unit is available with Windows 7 Professional installed which enables it to be joined to your company or institutions domain (optionally you can order with No OS).
